Thread: How to link Form Info

I am building a reservation form and want to know if you have as an example a combobox listing cities is there a way to automatically select one of the cities as an example "Charlotte" and have an Editbox automatically filled in with "North Carolina" and then go to a combobox with the zip codes to select for Charlotte, North Carolina.

Yes, you would need a database for this but navaldesign is our resident expert on these matters..............perhaps he will popin later.

It is quite possible (though enough complicated) using a database and Ajax. It works much the same as the shopping carts categories / subcategories dropdowns (when you select a category, the subcategories combobox is automatically populated).

I don't quite understand the last part: you mean that the zip combobox should also be populated with the zip codes of the selected area ? If yes, it is also possible.
