Question Cannot get on any search engines even with Vodahits...

I had a pretty good time putting together my site http://www.firefighterhire.com and have had it kicked off for some time now. I purchased a years worth of submission with the Vodahits service however no matter what I do, I cannot get listed at all in any of the sites. Can someone anyone please tell me what I may be doing wrong with my site and/or what I need to change to help get this listed on any search engine?

Please help!

Hi
I would suggest you change your title on your pages, you have "FIREFIGHTERHIRE.COM.
Try something like " Fire Fighter Hire - Book Sale"
It may help?

You sure you are looking at the right site Karen? I am confused as to what duplicate content you are referring to and squeeze pages? I don't have anything associated with opt-in or anything like that on the two pages I have on the website....can you elaborate a little more?

If you don't already,
have some keywords and keyphrases in the very beginning
of your index content like, for example, in your first paragraph.

And you could repeat the same for all pages.

Google and others "read" basically the first paragraph of your page.

However, you wanna have up to, and not too many, 20% of your
page content be keywords.

In any case, try the first paragraph of like 3, 4 and probably 5 sentences.

I might add it takes time though.

Google used DMOZ directory but lately I am not sure
if they still do. But it's good idea to get into DMOZ and Yahoo directories.

But then again, it takes more time, because as you know human
intervention is involved in directories.

I don't know it would help or not, looking at your source file,
you have almost all images at the beginning of the file. Try to have
the content loaded first and then the images.

I heard the spiders and robots or whatever "get tired" and then
leave a site prematurely.

Thank you Shafi - that helps a lot. What is the easiest way to have the content loaded first then photos in Bluevoda? Is there an easy way?
