If you are System analyst!

Hi

Is there anyone specialize in system analyst? Or any one has Idea and experience in this field

If you are system analyst and an owner of flower shop want to support his work and build website and sell flowers online, what are the requirement to start working in this project?

Hi Roro..

I don't think you need a System Analyst for this one.. you probably need a web designer and perhaps Internet Applications Specialist (that's only of your operation is so complex and require unique software).

In the normal circumstances, you would build an E-Commerce based website. In your website, you will have:

Products and services (you may use a shopping cart for the display)
The shopping cart itself (some are good and some are better.. Shopping carts will display your products and process purchase orders and even issue your invoices and receipts.. some also have the ability to check order progress and EST)
The payment Gateway, some shopping carts contain links to payment set up through PayPal and so on.. You would obviously be best to link up with your bank to get some merchant facility happening.. (example: credit card payments.. etc)
Data babe management sustem if you wish to stay in touch with your clients and have them all sitting in a nice neat little accessible spot.

If you're operation is large and you think that it is too complex to be implemented by web designers or pre-designed shopping carts, you might consult a system analyst to draft the site plan for you and to test each phase as they are completed.

Thanks for help, but what u have mentioned at the end that’s what I need , how system analyst will work in such porject.

How big of a flower shop is it going to be? I can't picture the need for a system analyst. If you need help in developing a website - I suggest you look for a web design/developer to work with you, as Carlos suggested.

Now, if I'm missing something - please let me know.
