Forms and DB Applications scripting Services

A new branch of our original company, DB Technosystems.com , was born.

Mission: provide high quality, moderately priced scripting services for webmasters and site owners.

Fields of application:

1. Forms and Form processing: we will create ANY type form for you, including MULTIPAGE FORMS and we will also create the necessary script to process your info.

Our forms will be processed by a custom made script, especially made for you. This allows for personalized solutions as:
- Validating form fields as required (email field, telephone field, US postal code, telephone
number, domain name field, upload file type and size, required fields etc.).
- Javascript or PHP validation (we do reccomend PHP).
- Database storing (if required).
- File storing (if required) in .csv or .txt format.
- Preview Page (if required)
- Multiple selection dropdowns. In case of a database application cooperating with the form, values can be retrieved directly from the database.
- Chained dropdowns: values of a dropdown depend uppon selection of another dropdown. In case of a database application cooperating with the form, values can be retrieved directly from the database.
- Multiple email addresses (if required). In case of a database application cooperating with the form, values can be retrieved directly from the database.
- Multiple File upload, as well as storing to the database. The link to the file is contained to the email.
- File type and size check: prevent malicious type code to be uploaded on your site by checking the MIME type of the file, as well as the size.
- Plain text or HTML email.
- Customised autoresponder message. You can have practically any kind of autoresponder message, plain text or HTML
- SMTP authentication (if required).

Furthermore, our scripts will provide advanved security features, as Illegal form submission check and hardcoded (or database retreived) email addresses.

2. Database aplications: we can build ANY type of Database application and Database Administration Interface.

Databases are the most efficient way to store and manage info. We can build full applications, that include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Administration of database Tables relevant to information gathering forms: Newsletter forms, Information forms, Survey forms, Membership forms, Order forms, Loggin forms, etc.
-Directories of any type: Business directory, Professionists directories, Link Directories, etc.
-Commercial Applications: Products / Stock / Orders / Clients / Suppliers / Invoices /Shipments / Payments / Customer Support Packages

Our applications allow you to:

- View All records in enumerated pages, with possibility to sort in ascending or descending order of any of the viewed fields.
- Add, Copy, Delete, Edit, View a specific field.
- Print all or part of the records.
- Search your database tables with ANY criteria, amomg the database table fields you want.

Questions on the above...
Using these custom databases can I choose certain groups to mail out different newsletters?
Can these custom databases also handle promotional discounts, coupons and gift certificates?

Can the custom database gather information from the shopping cart (i.e. name, address, email, password), store it and make it accessible for future use?

Let me see if i have got it wright:

1. You mean by taking the info from the shopping cart database, or having it's own database table (feeded i.e. by a registration form) ?

in either case, this is possible. The database interfaces i build allow for database records management, among them exporting the info in excel, word csv or xml format. These can be imported in any mailer or desktop spreadsheet for further work.

2. This is practically a full scale shopping cart you are asking for. Or i'm getting it wrong ? what is excactly that you want ? Please explain.

yes, as answered in the above answer nr 1. Of course, i would need to have a look at your shopping cart before i give my final answer

I will be creating my shopping cart from scratch using PayPal. Hopefully that won't be a problem.
If I could have one big table that includes customers 'shopping cart' information and also information from those that would sign up for my newsletter without purchasing any product, that would be fabulous! If I could include my wholesale and rep information and allowing everyone password protected log in pages that would be just a perfect world!
Piece of cake right George?

Hi Dori,

well, a shopping cart is a LOT of work. One thing is a dynamically driven site, with a certain number of templates, and products stored in the database, that dynamically populate these template pages, and another thing is a full scale shopping cart. This includes lots of issues: complex data base (it has to be planned VERY carefully), security issues, functionality, and more others, with, a most important one, payment method: PayPal's shopping cart, or Buy Now buttons ?

It needs lots of discussion.

Morning George! I will delve into the shopping cart issue and get back to you on this one.
On another thread we talked about my creating product page templates with photos, descriptions and PayPal Buy Now buttons, giving them to you and then you would create a script for them. Is this the same thing as you mention above? Can it all be integrated into one database script?

I would really like the ability to send both html and plain text on the newsletters. I do have an AWeber account and can stay with this for generating my newsletters if the database you create for me can be uploaded into AWeber for my mailings. Being that I have close to 200 customers already and plan to have many more, I think it would be best for me to stick with what I have for the newsletter.

Hi Dori,

yes, the database interfaces that i build have the feature of exporting in xls, word, csv and xml format. This way, you can export the database listings in a file to import in aweber's mailing list. I suggest that you stick with them, their service is unbeatable.

Only an idea on the last post. Pay pal has the facility to download all the transaction that have been made on an account. It maybe a little easier to use this & make it into a usable database. You can download in comer or tab format.

Sounds really great there navaldesign. thats what I've been trying to accomplish with zend and php.

One more question why when I try to edit a post I made does it say I'm not log in?

Sorry, my friend, I disagree emphatically 1000%!!
Out of my first verified clean, personally compiled, 100% opt-in "client penned" email list of 18,000 I submitted to Aweber, they only "allowed" 562. Upon what basis?
Additionally, upon a test distribution to those 562, due to the 3 and 4 "verification emails" sent to clients PRIOR to delivering my emails, they frightened 111 of them to opt out!!!

Mind you....my continued success is founded upon properly following up with and serving my 220,000+ clients. I do not have time to deal with such petty imbiciles!

I had followed *****'s recommendation originally, and even communicated with the principal briefly, to no avail. These people are idiots, and are purely hyper-paranoid about a very simple regulation that they believe only they are capable of both understanding and complying with! *****'s last advisory to try to explain to these Malakas was hopeless! They will not listen, nor provide explanation.

I am looking forward to your alternative solution utility and application options soon.
