I moved this as vodahost doesnt even host ORACLE based servers and this is more of an affiliate ad than anything that the majority of vodians will use.

1. You have improperly moved this thread (announcement), as it is all about "Business Development" and not an "advertised service"

2. The Content material and Resources discussed at OpenWorld have NOTHING to do with whqat you claim as a "prerequisite" of Oracle Software not being able to be hosted at VodaHost whatsoever!! You are so wrong .....

3. This is an announcement of an industry-wide Intelligence Conference, sponsored by Oracle, the originators of Open Software (Open Office, etc. that allows computer users worldwide that ability to take advantage of their computer without having to be forced into buying MS Office) that supports the Open Source Project (like the scripts VodaHost offers via Fantastico: osCommerce, Joomla, WordPress, etc.). This conference is all about how BI is becoming more generic, and how the directions are bring influenced! Don't you get it?? This link I provided allows a significant discount off the regular price of admission to this "important" conference ...

4. In addition, your experience with a couple "clients" regarding the Oracle eCommerce platforms (dubious at that) has not qualified you to respond that Oracle software or business systems are incompatible with VodaHost. A lot in fact do run smoothly, without error!

5. Oracle does not have "affiliate" relationships with anyone, Karen! They only have Partnerships with qualified companies, and only after they pay upwards of $2-10,000 to invest in the partnership license for developing co-branded solutions! Surely this would severely limit the majority of "webbies" from claiming such peerage, you think?

No matter how you look at it, you erred big time all the way around on this one, no matter how you try to glibly dodge the bullet!

Gee ORACLE.com sells ORACLE BASE.. hmmm...

IT IS about advertising and promoting ITS seminars.. they arent free and its NOT A FREE SERVICE.. hence the coupons. This is an advertisement for PAID SERVICES.

Gee.. nothing there about OPEN OFFICE.. they support open office.. and develop their products to integrate it.. but its not the same thing as offering it and paying for its development, they just realize people are going to use it.

Anyway.. im not gonna waste time pointing fingers and making NASTY accusations.
