Is Soholaunch Pro considered a content management software (CMS) I'm working on a subscription or membership site and it appears I need some of the features offered by soho but also need some content management software. I'm not familiar with soho and cannot tell if it offers this kind of funtionality.

If it is not, what else is available to provide content management assistance?

That depends on what kind of cms you want to provide, theres drupal, and joomla, and a couple of others in cpanel i think, and you can add carts to them for subscriptions.
