Thread: Simple question in space of text.

Hello People,

I am doing my best and
some easy looking things
are baffling me:

On my site the writing
is to condenced
and is reading more like
this as opposed to how

I want it to read. Like this, more across as it is reading down.
I am reading the tutorials but am getting a little more confused
than I was hoping to.

Also, on the Soho Templates (Free ones) How do I take off the words "homepage" It appears twice at the top. I hope I can remove that writing.

your spacing is set in the template css files.. looks like a carriage return is double spaced. You have two options.. open the text box, switch to html and remove the <p> and substitue <br> where u just want a line break and not a carriage return.. secondly, you can download the template folder and edit the css file that controls this style. You will be downloading the template folder anyway, to fix your menu that appears across the top if you cant shut if off in navigation, or in the template manager. You will open the index file in a html editor and remove the #vmenu. save.. then reup the template folder. You cannot simply download the index file as this wont change a thing.. see threads on editing the templates here and on soho launch.

One more note. the H tags, headlines make their own spacing by default and you cant change this if you use h tags, its built into the html, so.. you could instead just use bolded text and format it.
