Thread: shipping and billing

Hello, everyone,

I don't want to have the phone numbers in the shipping and billing information when customers check out. How do I delete this section?

Go to the display shopping cart. I believe you can edit it out there. If not, it will have to be customized.

You will be one of the few not wanting a phone number. First time you get a fraudulent order, cant verify the email, and no phone number on the charge back.. you dont stand a chance in hell of winning it.

Because I am selling downloadable digital products, so I thought phone number could be optional, but maybe I was wrong?

Well you may not need a shipping address, but, if you take credit cards even thru paypal, and you have NO phone number, address and other verifiable info and a fraud is commited or claimed, a current phone number is part of the identifiable info they are going to ask you to provide to prove your claim that it was NOT fraud and that they got their download etc etc.

But, if you want it off... by all means..Im just tryng to inform you not argue with you.
