Hi! I'm having a heck of a time trying to build the oScommerce webstore and am thinking of going with Soholaunch. However, I have a fairly large website already built with BlueVoda and would like to keep that with a webstore in my subdomain or addon domain. Can I do this with just links to the soholaunch webstore from my BV site? Or would this be considered a second site to webhost? Thanks for all your help!! I really need it! Debra          |

Yes.. you can do this fairly easily with soho in a sub domain. Keep in mind tho the two sites will look different as soho isnt as easily formatable as bv is. Karen

OK - This is what I am considering to do!! This seems to be a great idea! So are you saying I can use my already built website (well almost built) and just direct the customer to a Soho webstore??? With a link to each section of the webstore? Thanks!! Ad |

Hi, i also would like to do this, but my concern is that google doesnt like subdomains. My site is in the top 5 of the search results and im a bit paranoid that google will penalise me for using a subdomain. Can someone set me straight on this? i hope i am wrong. Matt |

Google doesnt like numerous subdomains created for the purpose of pointing back to the main domain for SEO purposes. For this purpose you could do this, or you could also domain the store and point to it from the other domain. Addon domains are technically subdomains, so again.. purpose, how you use them etc is the key ingredient. Karen
