How would I design my own custom template? Would I have to use a program like dreamweaver?

Well you cant use bv to customize a template for soho. For that you do need dreamweaver or front page. What you may find easier is to find one of their templates thats close to what you want. Download that folder, work your customizations, then reup it. This way you have all the soho files and just change colors and css sheets to your specs.
