Thread: Display contents of DB in a table (soho)

I intend to have unauthenticated users to supply very short reports and submit them to a table in a database. I know how I could create a search form in soho to lookup that table, however my aim is to place a table on a page and have it read the database without having to hit a submit button like one does with a search form.

The table will display bird observations in th area that the public would enter in the database. I would prefer to have the table dynamically displaying the data as it is entered. I would think that I must also set an limit of how many records will be displayed otherwise it could easily grow beyond limitations.#

My idea is to display a weekly or pehaps daily reports.

Could anyone please help?

This requires custom formatting of your database and display report. It can be done, but i doubt seriously for free.

Thanks for your reply. I hope you are doing better after your operation.

I do not intend to have it done as otherwise I would not have learned anything. My scope is to learn web designing not really to build my own website.
A few technical tips where to find certain information will do.

Run a google search for formatting mysql databases to display reports and the appropriate php scripts for managing it.
