Thread: html code in soho shopping cart problem

Hi there, I have a problem with html code in soho shopping cart product description page.
the same html code at my other page displays well,

However, when I copy the same html code into soho shopping cart, it doesn't display properly.

Could someone farmilar with html code give me some advise?

The shopping cart isnt designed for that is the biggest reason and has its own templates and you have to change php files to display this and alter this. The shopping area is designed to add to cart or checkout.. usually customers wont be shopping in there.. they will be in your outer pages.

Why do you want that page in the cart to start with? That would make it duplicate content..

Hi Karen, I just want to add more information of the products in products > shopping cart > more information. I think that's the way, otherwise where to add more detailed information? Thanks.

Well you can do that in the product itself.. and you can ATTATCH that PAGE to display on the cart. No need to try to code it in and duplicate it. On your product go to advanced and you can now see the ATTATCH PAGE DETAIL tick that box.

I have another 2 questions:

1. How can I remove [More information] in the shopping cart? (as I don't need it any more)

2. How can I remove product in the shopping cart? It only allow me to edit, I like to delete one of the product.

You would have to customize the files to remove that. What you could do is just put a picture of the product and link it to the cart.. easy enough to do.

To delete a product go to shopping cart edit or delete.. the big box in the middle.. it will then list your products or you can do a search.. on the right will be a delete button.
