It's not which one is better. They are both fantastic and they will
both do the job exceptionally well. But, BlueVoda is downloadable
and allows you to create your website offline and has it’s own set
of features.

Soholaunch is an online website / web store builder and has its own

What you have to do is to decide what set of features are required
for your individual situation and skills.

What is the advice of the cheapest checkout system to use? Paypal seems the ideal answer, but not all customers will have an account. Also the worrying costs applicable to some I've read of, especially to those of us just starting out?

One of the largest misconceptions people have tis that the need
to have a PayPal account in order to pay for something via PayPal.
Your customers DO NOT need to have a PayPal account in order
to pay you via PayPal.

PayPal is a great system which we use extensively. They pay up
fast and they have lots of fraud screens...If you are going to be
doing eCommerce, you will need to have some sort of fraud screening.

When I got an email that said "Vodahost breaking news", I actually said to myself I sure wish the breaking news was an ecommerce builder (I kid you not), because I have been struggling to find a shopping cart that I can figure out for my bluevoda site. So thank you for that. I do have a question: Is there a way on soholaunch to set it up so that orders go directly to the dropshipper. For example can product A be linked in such a way that the appropriate information goes directly to one particular dropshipper (that dropshipper would get an order automatically that had the product ordered, the ship to information, ship method etc..) I hope what I am asking makes sense. I currently have a blue voda site, but I also have a site that I have done in frontpage with a storefront shopping cart and it is set up that each order goes to the appropriate dropshipper with the appropriate info. I would love to be able to do that with my soholaunch site.

How come under my advanced features group, everything is grayed out except site data tables. When I try to click on something, I get:

Your current license does not allow you to access this feature

Hi Julie,

You are not the only one. Many customers have been asking for an
easy to use eCommerce system....When you say you want your drop
shipper notifed of the order. I assume you mean with out your intervention.

Am I correct in saying this? OK...here is the scenerio & solution

Scenerio
John come to your website and purchases your product. He pays by credit
card and his order goes directly to the drop shipper for processing. Julie
wakes up in the morning switches on her computer and see's the entire
chain of events...logs on to her online banking and see's johns money.

Julie is happy...

Solution
The first step you need to do is contact your drop shippers and ask them
what format do they want to be notified (Fax, email, phone call, etc...)
Or do they have some kind of API that your script could communicate
directly with there system.....You need to know all this before you start.

You need to establish a chain of comunication with them.

I'm still locked out of some of the advanced features. Does the script have to be installed in my root directory?? ie expo300.com b/c I installed the script onto expo300.net b/c I was going to use the .net for my online store... ???
