I have added a photo to my templet, but it is not showing on the site. (www.thegemlovers.com) The photo is the exact size the instructions say & it is showing ok in the templet manager.

Where is it supposed to be? I dont see it? Which template did you use? If you just tried to do it in the index.php it wont work.. you have to use the template folder in the soho admin area

I used the templet manager in the soho admin area. In the same section (settings) where you put & change the store name & slogan, they're there ok. I've watched the video several times & can't see that I've missed anything. As you can see the templet has a name & slogan - I've even changed the slogan once. The templet is NEUTRAL<KISS (red) I don't know where the photo is supposed to be..........there's obviously a standard spot where the photo goes in the header......until the photo appears I don't know where that is. As you know it's a standard unaltered templet I'm using.
That template doesnt allow for a foto.. all the fields will be there standard in the builder as the majority do.. you will have to download and edit your template to add one.

Thanks for that Karen. I am planning to edit the templet soon. Can I still add the title & slogan through the templet builder; after I add the photo plus info in the footer?
Yes.. but please be aware that it may over write your photo. You will want to make a table and put the photo in and and move the slogan or use #logoimage# where you want the logo image to appear. Youll see what I mean once you open the template.
