Embedding quicktime movie

Hi fellow Vodies

I need some guidence please.

I would like to embed a quicktime movie clip onto my soholuanch web site home/index page.

I have the neccessary codes to do this I just can't find the right place to put the html code?

I have uploaded the movie clip, the refernce clip & the poster image I need to point the code to the clips..etc

I have searched through my site files using CP but can't find the the index html to add the code to.... ie <Head> & <Body>

I would use the add media function but it brings up a pop up window with the movie clip on it, but thats not what I want to achieve. and the function withing the text editor that allows you to add a movie clip is not universal. ie if your visitor does not have quicktime player installed on their machine they will not be able to watch the clip without going through the whole process of downloading & installing quicktime pro.

Maybe I'm asking to much in this case, I know soholuanch has it's limitations but I really like working with it in most cases it is easy & fun to use. I'm hoping someone here has an answer for me.

Place a text element on the page and then edit it.. switch to the html view and use Ctrl+V to paste it in in the html view or open notepad.. paste your codes in.. save as whatever you want with html or .inc extension and then drop a custom element onto your soho page.. and upload and insert it that way.

You also need to UPLOAD the quicktime file in the file manager...and know where its linked to...

Dang.... and wouldnt you know ... someone just told me the other day my halo was broken in so many pieces it looks more like thorns..
