Thread: Can the image be changed in a template?

I'm building my soho site with the camera in the upper left side of the template and want to change the image to something I've downloaded into my file manager. Can I change the image and if so, how?

Yes you can change the image. You will have to download that template file and edit the template. Then load the file back up...and the new image with it.

Hmmm. No having any luck and the tutorial for the Template manager looks different from the version I have. I have uploaded the new Company logo image and I get a successful SAVE, as well as the Business Information info and the Website Header Text.

However, when I click Template Upload each time I get "Template Upload Error!"

You have to do this via ftp. You cant do it from the store builder and.. you will need an html editor. Your image will need to be with in the template folders images not the storebuilders and not the area that is uploaded in the template manager.

I have been reading this thread over and over again, but i just dont understand how to do it!!

Karen- does soho have its own ftp folder? or is it the same one as bluevoda?

What does this mean? i have uploaded my image into the file manager but from what i gather i was not suppose to do that...

Can someone please help me as i really want to change the picture..i am also using the camera template..

If your template allows an image upload this is fine. If not you have to customize the templates.

Soho will be in the main Public-html folder if its your main domain.

Edit.. cuz i was tired..Ftp with soho will use your main control panel and user name just like bv.. it wont have its own account. In fact you have to put this into your admin area for soho to operate and update correctly.

Anytime you want a template customized you can contact me thru my website. I wont do it for free.. but i wont charge you an arm and a leg to do it either.

Yes... You can contact me..

You have to install or PREVIEW the template to see the features of the template.
