Thread: Can't Get Started

So far so bad. I just signed up for a website here at vodahost. As I try to navigate their website I keep winding up at that video tutorial of Stacy. I tried the Customer Login page and that displays a whole sheet of IP addresses. What's that about? I'm trying to build my site using Soholaunch. I downloaded using Fantastico. (Finding that was also difficult). Now I find it almost impossible to locate Soholaunch to create my site. Why are these initial steps so difficult? Where is Soholaunch??

Ok.. first things first. Did you purchase a domain name when you signed up for hosting? Or did you already own one? If not, you will need a domain name, that is pointed to your servers.

Then you will find soho at
www.yoursite.com/sohoadmin

The customer login page you are referring to, gives the ip addresses of all the servers so that you can login to you Cpanel there. you can also login by typing www.yoursite.com/cpanel

Please do the tutorials for administering your hosting cpanel as well. This is where you set up email and manage domains etc.

Please substitute yoursite with your actual domain name.

Yesterday I created the website thru vodahost. The page you sent me to is another webhosting site called "yoursite" and it just helps you find a new name for a webpage. I'm trying to log into Soholaunch here at Vodahost! You know like there should be a link at the top of Vodahost's main page saying "Soholaunch". Something simple like that.

Replace yoursite.com with YOUR domain...

Karen doesn't know what your domain is.. she was giving you an example!!

That's why she put at the bottom of her post

Sorry, but by coinceidence, the webhosting company I normally use is called www.your-site.com!
