Default More than one site with only one account?

Hello,

I read that there is allowed to be more than one site within one account with BV. I want to build an ecommerce site but am not sure how to go about adding another site (with a different domain name). I remember reading somewhere that I have to reset my site if I use Soho...does that mean I loose my current site? How do I have two sites with different domains on one account?

Thank you for any insight as I have been going through the forums and info for about 2 hours now, trying to figure this out...
Hope you are having lovely day,
Natalie

Any other domain that you add into your own voda hosting account is called an add on domain, add on this domain in your control panel, keep a separate folder on your computer to store these files (when using blue voda) These other types tend to want to install in your public_html directory, (main website folder) so you will need to change this to install to another directory (folder).

Have a check or let someone confer. But i think you can install Soho in a new directory that will be created by your new add on domain.
But you are defiantly only allowed on installation of Soho per account.

Thank you, I'll definitely try to make a new folder. I haven't used the Soho or any of the carts before, but I'm sure I'll be able to figure it out.
Thanks again,
Natalie

You cant install soho in a folder. It has to be a domain or subdomain. Soho requires the use of a domain name to function correctly. Create a subdomain or an addon domain in cpanel to do this and then install soho thru fantastico.
