Website is www.safersecurityproducts.com and when I try tio edit the pages from my desk top I click the page to edit and I get loading page content and it won't go any farther than that. I have had the problem for over a week now.

I can edit it from my laptop. I still get the loading page content but then it continures to editing as it should.

I have looked for a thread on this one but can't find anything.

I posted this question back on the 20th of the month and have not had a response. I see there has been 47 views but no responses.

Does this mean no one knows the answer to the problem or just hasn't had time to respond?

I submited a support ticket also since I had no response on the forum. Mike has responded with several questions which I have answered but so far has not given any solutions.

Now when I pull the site up on line it pulls up hidden cameras when It should pull up the home page. This is really starting to bug me and my business in dead in the water because I can't get past the loading page content to edit anything.

Without logging in to your soho or having total access to your account, i cant give you an answer. I just missed this post or didnt see it, but.. 99% of the time its something to do with permissions, updates or you havent emptied your stats tables and they are bogging things down. If you email me your information.. im sure you know where.. between two forums.. ill try taking a look at it tomorrow.

Really tho.. if you have a support ticket in.. you should really keep it at the support level.. even so.. ill take a look.

I just logged in there.. no issues. You do have several months in your stats table. go to database tables, and the 6 that begin with STATS_ all caps are the ones to download to csv(excell) and then empty the tables. You should do this.. depending on traffic, about every three months. STATS are a big bandwidth puller. Yours werent REAL high.. but when u really start pulling in the page views this can really make your site load slow cuz of the tug on the databases.

If you are still having issues.. let me know and ill do this for you..and also send me your cp account logins and ill poke around there and in the actual databases to see if i can see anything

Just in case someone else runs into this problem. The problem was solved thanks to Karen.
She Told me to check my firewall and I found that I had 2 active firewalls Microsoft and Computer Associates which is furnished free by Road Runner.

C A was blocking it so I turned that firewall off and it works fine now.

What happens if you delete one of the subjects in STATS-- by accident you know so the whole subject including the title tab goes. I know you can't just recover it but what happens if you reinstall SOHO's Fantastico? does it clear all your info or does it update it to the newest version?

it will clear all your data.. soho is built to update itself in webmaster tools. Theres no way to recover the stat info if you have deleted it.
