Thread: Item sold and inventory stayed the same

Hello,
I sold an item on Thursday, and I got an e-mail from paypal, saying I had received payment. However, there was no sku number, like promised, and to top it off, the item wasn't removed from my inventory!!! My items are all one of a kind, so it is important that they disappear, as stated by the inventory count.
I tried to double check everything, but it seems I put in all the right things. Inventory count: 1. Item catalog and sku: 05, for my records.
What am I missing?!

I also just switched the item number to 0. Manually(:
So now it appears, out of stock.

Does it perhaps matter if you put in 01 vs. 1? For inventory?
I know you can check what you sold thru the shopping cart, but can it be shown via e-mail too?

no it wont show in email your stock level.. but on the advance page you have to tick that box on the right to count the inventory..or untick ignore quantity.. cant remember this second..

I looked on the advanced page for the shopping cart items, and couldn't find a box to tick for the inventory amount, just the little question mark paper.

Its there.. on the left, same line as the inventory which is on the far right.

Where it says, "when customers add this product to their cart, require Form Data from:"
then there is a drop box, and below there is 2 tick boxes with per qty and ignore qty?

Such a little thing like that can make a Big difference! I am not sure how I overlooked that, but am greatful to have it fixed(:
