Analytics for Soho help even after forum research

I have been on the forums searching for analytics help for soho.
I had it with BV, and don't want to erase that information, so I was opening a new account. I have to paste the HTML code into right before the body.
I saw the post that was left about the HTML editor with these instructions:
1) Open up your text editor.
2) On the bottom right you will see a button that says "HTML EDITOR"
3) Insert the code as described above, before the end of body tag.

When I open my text editor, it doesn't tell me where the body, end, ect are?! It has HTML view, but doesn't look like the HTML I was used to in BV.

I also saw the add on, but would rather do it myself, if I can.

Just want to get my website tracked again, b/c I noticed it was down since I switched to Soho, which makes sense now(:

You need to purchase the addon for soho to do this. addons.soholaunch.com You cannot access those areas from inside of the soho builder or in the text editor.

Theres too many places you have to add it to otherwise. Soho and BV are NOTHING alike so you cant compare tutorials.. it just doesnt work.

That was actually the soho directions, but it must have been an old forum.
It started with the BV instructions, and someone asked about soho, and that was the instructions. Sure would make it easier to have the HTML access!

Someone answered incorrectly etc.. people do jump in not paying attention to whether or not its soho or bv they are answering.

soho isnt like that because it runs dynamic templated pages.....and you can generate pages etc without the html knowledge needed or access to those areas. This is the case in most STORE BUILDERS.. all the files and scripts are interconnected to achieve different results.. on the fly.. so to speak.. else youd have to hard code every page and product.
