Default Product listings are different sizes on different pages - LOOK to see what I mean :-)

Hi guys,

This is annoying me wuite a bit to be honest.

The product listings on one page of my site are one size, yet on other pages they are a different size.

I will list below links to two different pages.

The first page is how I want EVERY product listing page to look.

The second page is how I don't want the product listings on the pages to look.

First Page: http://www.adamsposters.com/shopping...rowse=1&cat=97

Second Page: http://www.adamsposters.com/shopping...rowse=1&cat=30

How can I sort this problem out? I've tried, but can't rectify it

It might not seem much to some, but it spoils the look of the website and image is everything.

Thank you in advance, especially Karen if she replies to this thread!

soho thumbnails based on the original image size and keeps it in proportion.. unless you specifically LOAD a sized thumbnail, this will happen.

Hey,

The first link - every image has been resized by myself to mazimum 500p wide and 500p height.

The second link - the same applies.

So what do you think the problem may be?

Thank you,

Well.. how much white space? Did you crop them down before resizing?? That would make the difference.

Ok.. well they arent all 500x500 some are 500x196 etc.. so they are going to be different THUMBNAIL sizes as well. The only way to make the thumbnails the same across the board is to create thumbnail images and upload them.. and select them in the thumbnail image.

Hmm,

The thumbnail images are set to maximum 95p.

Every single image has been croppped etc the same way.

Correct me if I am wrong, but you MAY have got the wrong idea:

If you look on the first link the product listings AREA spans the whole content area, which is what I want, but the second link shows the product listing area does NOT span the whole content area, which is what I don't want.

My apologies if i have caused any inconvenience.

Thank you,

they probably need to put a clearpixel.gif the width of the page to HOLD it to a certain width even in the shopping cart..or.. upload the css file to the shopping cart...without looking at it in detail thats my guess for the easiest solution.. or to make the table or cell a certain width.. and make sure it includes the CONTENT cell

I've contacted him and await his reply, but you're right, it is down to the person who created the template, therefore I thank you for your invaluable input.
