Thread: Pulling data from soholaunch user data tables

I am trying to build a web based inspection system for automobiles using soho's built-in forms and data tables... I have gotten to the point where I have some data in the table via the form and submit side but now I would like to pull data from that same table (perferably into a report that would display on the webpage) I tried a custom table search and it does pull up the data that I want but no where close to the format I want it in. Is there a way to change this format or is there a plugin or script out there somewhere I can use to taylor this to what I want?

After reading some of the other post in the forum I thought I would offer some more info on what I have and want I am needing...

I have 1 user table set up in soh that a custom designed form dumps the data that I add to it after I hit the submit button.. Each field in the form adds that data into a new field in that same table. I tried to keep it simple for now until I get more familar with php. And what I am wanting to do is have the data display on a page after a customer searches by the VIN field which is the 17 digit vehicle identification number for the inspection. Instead of the data being displayed all in one long row I would like it to look something more custom such as this

This is what I want

Year XXXX Make XXXXXXX Model XXXXXX VIN XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Trim XXX Doors X Color XXXXXXX Transmission Type XXXXXX


This is what I get with a table search:

I will certainly be thankful for any help provided.

This would be easier to do if you downloaded the tables, manipulated and loaded them up. Else it would require custom coding to achieve this.

Is there a way to connect to the soho tables like using crystal reports?

No... as i said youd have to edit soho files them selves.. if you mean after downloading then yes.
