Thread: Deleting images

Hi All,

I have a lot of images that I need to take off my site but i don't seem to be able to delete them out of the image file in the normal way. They are not being used on any of my pages so not sure why I cannot get rid of them.
Anyone got a solution

This is an urgent Problem...Can someone please help me.

I am going into the 'file manager', then into 'images', ticking the pictures i want to delete and then clicking the 'update file changes' button down the bottom of the list. Nothing is happening..it won't even change the name of the pictures!

Anyone with a suggestion as i need to clear these images asap.

I need to get them out of my "Image" file in the File manager, I have tried to delete them as discribe in the tutorials etc and I have tried others ways but nothing is happening.
When I tick the box and then upload, it goes through the prosses but the image is still there when i go back into the image file.
This is driving me insane there has got to be something in the program that is stoping the deleting prosses...BUT WHAT.

Surely one of the higher ranking people on this forum must have some idea of what to do.
