after sorting my phpb forum via fantastico i've noticed there is only the default subsilver template how do get the other templates useing my FTP manager,i'm rather confused now getting in a rut i need other files too.HELP! my url is www.northlondonriderz.co.uk

If you mean how do you upload the skin files to your templates folder via FTP then this can really depend on what FTP program you're using.

Usually you would put the setting of your site into the FTP program usually either in the 'settings' menu or the 'site' menu. The information you will nearly always need is:

LocalHost = localhost
Username = your cpanel username
password = Your Cpanel password

As far as i'm aware once these settings are input you should be able to drag and drop files from your pc to the server and it will upload from there for you. I use cuteftp so if you use a different FTP program you may have to do something different.

If i've just gone off on one and this is not what you wanted at all.......erm, Sorry!! But please let us know what FTP program you're using and i'' see if i can find a manual for you to help you set yours up.




You need to upload the required files to you server and then to the correct template folder.
