Deleting a folder

Morning everyone
I have a little problem I hope you will be able to solve.
I have two folders in my Cpanel, I wish to delete, however when I go to delete them, they wont delete.
I also get the error, when trying to rename:
"Internal Error, can't find that folder "
Can someone tell me why I cant delete these folders, its also imperative I delete them.

sorry should have made that clear, im trying to delete them from the cpanel. i.e

.garage and the other is just called garage, they are located in:

/ public_html / forum /

The folder is protected and can not be deleted, but it is empty...

sorry to be a pain, but something has changed? could you please inform me of that changes or whatever you have done as my garage can no longer be accessed!

try changing permission to the folder while in file manager or check you have not added a password protect to the folder via Cpanel.

What Voda is saying is that the folder is protected from being deleted therefore you need to remove this protection before you can delete the folder.
