uninstall a forum, help please

HI, I put a forum on a site ande it has been absolutely spammed to death with a big lesson for me!

I think I need to start again so, could you let me know how to uninstall the present forum, so I can do one that is password protected.

You can put a password on the current forum, you don't have to do it before hand. If you really want to install it then it depends on how you installed it. If you used fantastico, click the link to install the forum like you did originally, except don't click the install link. Below the link there is a list of all the current installations you have, and there is a link to remove it. Click that and follow the 3 or so steps.

If you manually installed it, all you have to do is delete the directory on your website (or just the forum files) and delete the database in cpanel
