    Default Configuring SMF forum

    Hey all,

I have forums on my website www.diydatabase.net . The forum build is a SMF forum from control panel under Fantastico.

Everything is set up great but only one thing i can't figure out. When users and myself go to post, the text area is brown with black writing only while typing. When its posted it comes up normal.

I can't for the life of me figure out how i can change the background color while typing for a post.

    Seeking help / guidance.

    My thanks.

Try the Style.css file in the skins folder, look for any refrance to the the posting box. make a copy of the file before changing anything.

Having a hard time figuring this out. I'm so bad with coding.

Take a look at www.diydatabase.net/Forums . You see the 'Word' in big letters in top left hand corner with the notepad icon?

That is the area i want to change to an icon of my own if its possible. Just having a hard time figuring out where in the code etc.

    Any help appreciated =)

If your on about the logo top left. that is a image which can be found in the image folder of the theme you have used. file name logo.gif size is 250 x 150 replace that file with your own design using same file name and size.
