Default Set time in phpbb3?

Now this might seem a stupid question, but honestly it is not!

I have one forum which I converted to version 3, set the time, and it all worked fine.

I have another forum which I converted, have set the time exactly how it is in the first forum (and I've checked about 100 times!) but it remains one hour wrong!

I have even changed it to a different time zone, but it still doesn't alter the time it shows!

The only difference is that I installed 3.0.0 and upgraded manually to 3.0.1 on the first forum, the second I was able to download the 3.0.1 directly from fantastico. Could this be the difference? Am tearing my hair out and having to deal with loads of helpful people telling me the time is wrong!

Also - does anyone know how I can make a link to the home page of my site from the forum?

If you are configuring your board properly in the Admin Panel and still having bugs, you wil need to find Support directly from phpBB and their Forums: they will most likely have a debug thread with the solution previously posted.

The forum will set up the time based on what you put in the settings in general admin on where the server is located. You should then set the display time based on your hours from the server...should correct the time bugs. Last one i installed they still hadnt fixed this.
