how to I add a link back to my main site?

once the users go onto the forum, how do I put a link so they can re-access the main site?

Modify the existing Navigation template set and add the link there.

Some forgo this and just have the forum open in a new window from the site.. so that the site remains underneath.

Either that or explain, step by step, how to Modify the existing Navigation template set and add the link there. Please remember that I want to learn but I'm not very literate in these things before I've been taught.

Simply add target =blank to your navigation, or open in a new window when you link to the forum.

What my navigation? I don't understand what that word refers to. And I also don't understand where I would add target =blank.

Your navigation means the MENU on your website where let visitors click and send them to the page they are looking for. For example, look above this forum page what do you see...HOME - VIDEO TUTORIALS - FEATURES - PRICES ...etc. That is a navigation menu. So lets say you have a menu navigation BAR called "FORUM", just to over that word (or double click if it's a button) with your mouse and after look above(on the top of the page) your BlueVoda website builder, look for an icon that has a "chain and a planet", click on that. Now a screen opens... input your forum URL under URL option and look for the TARGET option right bellow... select "_blank"
