Need help installing new template

I want to install a new template for my forum but i'm currently using the default "Subzer**" template with phpbb forums. I have gone to sites such as themebase.com and downloaded some templates already. When i went to open them with winrar i wasn't sure what to do with lots of files and folders within it.

Can anyone please give me simple step by step instructions on how to use winrar to install these templates on my forum.

You either unzip them on teh server in the folder you want them to be working in ..or.. you unzip them on your computer and then upload them to the corresponding folders in your forum.. use ftp client or your file manager.

You software docs should give you the step by step. You neglected to say WHAT forum software you use.. each one is a tad different

Thanks for that, i am using the default phpbb vodahost forum. Do you know how i can install the template files and replace with another template?

I am still not sure how to do this, i have logged into my admin panel and but still don't know where to install the template i downloaded on my computer earlier. It does not give me the option to install a new template and i don't want to use the plain default template for my forum.

Anybody here know how to do this?

If you read the instructions you upload the skin to the styles folder usually... sometimes theres some other places too.. and then you choose to install that style in your admin panel

I have install a template on my computer and used ETP fitzilla file transter software but where exactly on the phpbb admin panel do in install the template? I think i am using phpbb2 version so i'm sure there is a way to install templates with it. Can you please help me?

I have tried using file management on vodahost but i don't know how to install the template to my forum. I watched the tutorials but it doesn't show how to install templates on phpbb forums. Anybody know?
