Default Disable printing and copying

Hi,

We are planning to have staff salaries online. We want to disable printing and copying. Also we want to have multiple log-in for staff to view their pay online. Can we do all of them in BV?

I thank you in advance for your help.

yes you can do this .. however, it will take advanced scripting, dedicated ip and ssl, to do all this in blue voda. You may instead want to look at a cms system like joomla with dedicated ip and ssl, and already programmed features to allow for secure logins and multiple users.

hmm.. well.. you can disable right click if thats what you mean, but it wont stop someone who wants it.. if its on the internet it can be had!! Especially with anyone half savvy with a computer. However, you can make logins so that they can only see their information and it would only be their info theyd be copying. All they have to do is a screen shot and they have an image of your content. I can also get a view source off the tool bar going around the long way.. so no even advanced scripting wont stop them copying and pasting or printing an IMAGE of the content.

Thanks for making it very easy to understand for a novice like me. Is it possible to have a "log-in" page with unique log-in and password for each staff? How do I go about it in BV?

yes.. its possible.. you would need to make a folder for each staff member and password protect it, and make a user and password for each staff to access their own folder only.

You should never put things like staff salaries and personal information out in the open. You should secure your site for this purpose.

Thanks for the suggestion. How do I go about "securing" the site?
