Default Cpanel - what am I still doing wrong?

At last I have created an email via Cpanel. I thoink it took some 3 days of email and trials... too much tachnical jargon altogether.
I actually have the icon on my desk top, but the problem is when I click it
to use the email it brings up a pop up telling me that it has been successfully entered in the registry... whilst I am very happy about this, I would prefer it if I could actually use the email facility... can someone help please, with a rather full explanation as i am not much of a computer wizz.
I normall have Microsoft Windows outlook express as an email facility.
Thank you

My problems seem to perpetuate at infinitum as I go along.
I do not have outlook express. I use only Microsoft Outlook 2007 mail account. Is this the same as outlook express?
I do have a gmail account.
I do not want to fiddle with things I do not understand till I am sure that I do the right things, hence the further question.
Thank you again

LOL.. Im working online, and i stop in the forums when i need a break..

Yes.. outlook is pretty much the same as far as setting up your accounts to the express version. in cpanel, mail, manage accounts you can click the link to set up outlook or outlook express automatically.. then.. you can tweak it from there.

Sorry about the tech jargon.. but.. without doing screen shots and tutorials.. theres no substitution.

And youre welcome

Karen

Hi Karen,
Well I seem to have gotten to the next step, but as I expected, the problems were not at an end.
I can now get to my email addresses in Outlook express where I can select the email I want to use the email address for the new domain traderspa@forextraderspa.com is there along with my other email addresses. I tried to send an email to my gmail and the following was the result...
Required. Server username and password. I tried every password and user combimation I know. I also went to my welcome letter and tried the ones which were given to me as Popmail log in and Pop mail password. Nothing doing, here is the resultant communication:-

Sending error 0x800CCC78. Can not send message. Verify email address properties. (I did that my email is correct) Server Responded: 550 Access denied.I nvalid HELO name. See RFC2821 4.1.1.1

Can you decifer this?

Thank you one more time

It will be the user name and password you assigned it when you created it.

Unless your isp is requiring you to use theirs. Then it will be that user name and password and the outgoing mail server will be

smtp.ispname.com

Hi,

Your are providd 2 email programs in cpanel.
Select one i.e. Horde.

In cpanel select "Mail" and set up your traders email account and password.

Mail is where you do your setup and mantainence of your domain's emails.
You can setup up to 9999 email is you like.
