Not sure what problem your exactly having. Round Cube is just another program like Outlook, Windows Mail or Thunderbird to view and access your email account which sits on the BV mail server, except that it is a webbased program. If you changed nothing in cpanel email accounts then they still have to work unless the server is temporarily down. You also said one out of 3 of them work in Round Cube. The other two which you say are not working is because you do not have them set up correctly.

My problem is I can not send or receive email for jewelry@victorian.com from my email account (outlook exp) I submitted a ticket and was told to ck ip, username and password I checked, it worked and I did nothing but look at it! I sent my self a note from Jewelry@ which was set up it worked, received it in outlook. It is not working today.. I check and re=check round cube and outlook to no avail! I set up outlook at the least 4 time, trying to fix this.. I followed the tutorial to the T or at least I think I am following properly??? I literlly have been trying to resolve this ALL day!! I just don't know where I am going wrong. in outlook I used mail.victorianrosebud.com for in and outgoing mail. and my user name and password are the original from cPan I don't know what to do, |

| No you do not need a combo of two to work. Round cube & horde work on the web just like yahoo & MSN(free version) and Outlook, Thunderbird, etc. work off of your system and have to be configured to access the server at VodaHost.

I do not quite understand what you mean by I checked, it worked and I did nothing but look at it! I sent my self a note from Jewelry@ which was set up it worked, received it in outlook. It is not working today.. when you say Jewlery@ are you referring to using Outlook or Round Cube? I am in Europe so its late and I got to get some sleep. I can try to help you tomorrow if you still need help. If you are not totally fixed on using Outlook, why not try Thunderbird which comes from Mozilla, the people which put out the Firefox Internet browser...its free to download.

I went into cPanel and check my email in RoundCube. it shows up but I can not receive incomming mail???? when I say Jewelry@victorianrosebud.com , it is from RoundCube account also .. at the end of the RC set up it says "This is the end of the tutorial DON"T FORGET to setup your new POP email account in you favorite email program, i.e Outlook,Outlook Exp, Eudora etc." NOW< I am totally confused! I am not sure what this means, do you need to do both, RC & Outlook for it to work? |
