Default Video preview still frame add

When posting a movie file in .wmv or Adobe flash formats, on the page where it is displayed, before it plays is there a way to have each video window show a still frame picture preview of the file? As in a pic of the presenter speaking throughout the file, a still frame of the file, possibly with text or a play button on the image.
When I add .wmv or flash files to a page they appear simply as the player with a black window where the file will play.
How can I make that black window a picture preview of the file?

With an .flv inside flash you can add an event and then with actionscript you can do what your asking for. Your best bet is to do a search on Flash forums for more help. Actionscript has learning curve which might take you sometime.
