Default New additional webpage not publishing

I successfully published by website almost a year ago, and now wish to add a new page to my site. I have gone through the process of building this page Upcoming Events, carefully making sure all the elements are correctly entered. I have tried to publish it and although it tells me this has been successful, it does not appear on my website. I have re-checked the page but am unable to find any incorrect elements. Website is www.dianaparkes.co.nz. Would appreciate some input. Many thanks, Diana

    Hi Diana

looks like you have a misspell of your name 'pakes' instead of parkes in your upcoming events

    cheers

Hi Millie: thanks for your reply. When I initially set up this new page, and it didn't published, I went back and discovered that I had spelt 'Pakes' when entering the link in the Navigation Bar. I corrected this, but it still isn't loading. Is there somewhere else as well that I have spelt my name wrong? I can't seem to find it. Thanks, Diana

It is still mis-spelt in the Nav bar. If you are using BV11 now you effectively have to delete the existing link and type it in again or for some reason it doesn't save just an amended version. I had the same problem and found that was the only way to resolve it

If you are using BV 11, like Adrian pointed out, then it's under debug.
When it is completely debugged and released, then we should be able
    to use it.

Until that time, I am using BV 10.2 which is stable and
    reliable.

So if there is a mistake, we can be pretty sure that it's not
BV but a typo on our part.

In a menu-driven website, which you have, most folks
would advise you to remove the "_blank" from the target for
internal links. External links is your choice.

If you are still seeing the old pages after fixing them, it
could be your cache. So cleaning is one thing you can do.

Thanks for all your advise. I have been back and removed, then re-added, the correctly spelt link in the Navigation Bars in all my website pages. Unfortunately the Upcoming Page is still not appearing on my website after publishing. I am somewhat confused about debugging and the BV11 and BV10.2 as mentioned by Shafi. How do I know which one I am using? I think I understand about the '_blank' but am not sure which options gives me an external link eg _self, _parent, _top. I appreciate your help. Thanks, regards Diana

When you create a link to a page on your
website frequently called internal link, there is an item
on the small window called Target. Remove the "_blank" from it.
    Just leave it blank/empty.

If you ever create a link to a page on another website
frequently known as external link, then target="_blank" is
    your choice.

By the way, BV 10.2 is right here.

    Kia Ora Diana

looks like you fixed your probs. Just a comment though. your links open new pages (tabs in my case coz I am using FF), so you must have _blank in your target. If you change that to _self, then the links should open in the same page (tab or window) that they have your homepage on.

    Cool stuff hutt girl

Hi Everyone, and Kia Ora to Millie!: having removed, and replaced upcoming_events in the Navigation Bar, with no luck, I decided in the middle of the night to move to Plan B, which I have just done (it is morning now). Which was to change the name of the page from Upcoming Events to just Events. And low and behold, there was the page, and still with Upcoming Events in the Menus! I am now wondering whether the system treated upcoming as two words, and I should have been entering up_coming_events. Who knows, but it is working. My many thanks for all your suggestions, my knowledge has continued to grow. Regards, Diana
