Hi there, I hope some will be able to help. I am relatively new in web design. I have decided to use Joomla because it appears that it would serve me better. My hosting account is with Vodahost and I have installed joomla through fanstatico in the cpanel. However when I publish my site whic i gain access through the back end of joomla, I only get "index of" and a list of all the files contained in my folder in my hosting account. I am suspecting it is to do with the installation or configuration. Kindly help. Kind regards John Kimani |

If you have installed Joomla via Fantastico, there is nothing for you to "publish" at all ... it is already installed. Check to see that your domain is properly associated with your hosting account: if registered elsewhere, be sure DNS entries have been changed so it "points" to your VodaHost account; if you installed Joomla to an add-on domain, be sure you have properly created the add-on, and that you installed it TO that add-on domain rather another directory 'created' during the Fantastico installation. |
