    Default Doctor's visit!!

A 90-year-old man was having his annual checkup. The doctor asked him
    how he
    was feeling.

"I've never been better," the old man replied. "I've got an
eighteen-year-old bride who's pregnant & delivered a child. What is
    your
opinion about that, Doc?" the old man asked.

The doctor thought for a moment, then said, "Well, let me tell you a
    story.
I know a guy who is a hunter. He never misses a season for hunting.
    But,
    one
day he's in a bit of a hurry and he accidentally grabs his umbrella
    instead
of his gun. The doctor continued, "So he's walking in the woods near a
creek, and suddenly he spots a lion in some brush in front of him. He
    raises
up his umbrella, points it at the lion and squeezes the handle.

BAM! The lion drops dead in front of him."

"That's impossible!" said the old man in disbelief.
Someone else must have shot that lion."

    "Exactly"... Said the Doc

If you really want to know how healthy you are, next time you go to the doctor see how much time he'll give you to pay the bill.

No...agree with you though..too many 'make the buck' doctors out there these days..instead of ones who care....Dad's old fashined country doctor who keeps up with the times but doesn't forget the old rules either...taught my sister that...she's a doc too...whole damm family's crawling with doctors...I'm the balck sheep of the family....lol

    Hmmm,
I've just seen a good way to earn some stripes, so one day I can grow up to be a Lieutenant Colonal like beegud2. Or even better, a Brigadier like kassi59.
Nice one Astraltraveller, I am going to post jokes as well. I would really get upset if tomorrow I see that you outrank me, purely by posting stale jokes.
    Regards to you all.

Remember that the saying the "broader the epulet, the weightier the load" applies in VodaLand too!

I don't get it (or maybe I did get it and it moved to my brain). HUH?
    "Never mind......"
And...if it WAS English, it was probably Old English, 16 oz???

yes I remember that brain surgon, Old English 800. My teachers said any thing older than 700 was Chaucer, where men were men and boys were girls, and scholars didn't under stand the jokes.

I pine for the days you needed a Church Key to open the monk's brew....
(or at least the pull tabs that actually came off and could be joined to make "ropes" to hang as room dividers)
Was that before written language or what???

while I was cleaning the garage I came across some oil cans. I asked my grandson to get me a church key. He went in the house and asked his mom ( my daughter) where a church key was. Not wanting her son to think there was something she didn't know, she past him over to grandma
( my new wife). When she came out side to see why I needed keys to the church, it made me feel pre Chaucer

P.S. I have a souvineer from Rome in the early 70's, an ornate can opener
shaped like a key with a picture of the vatican on it. ( the ultimate church ket)
