    Default Earliest Childhood Memory?

    What is your earliest memory?

I can remember back to around 2 n a half to 3 years old. For some reason I have a vivid memory of tugging a red kite along in the wind and it getting stuck on the side of a building in the drainpipe. LOL it must have affected my entire psyche from that point onwards. I cant remember how upset I was though, probably completely devasted ROFL

Hmmm...good question...I would say my earliest memories go quite a ways back but the one that really stands out and will stay with me into old age is my 'windmill library'. It was my own personal haven and where I read everythign from the childrens classics to Famous Five adventures, Nancy Drew...iwell you all get the drift...lol...could go on forever. My fondest memory is of that place.

    prenatal....
I know - nobody believes it, neither did my mom when I told her a memory and she said that I hadnt been born yet...lol...
Of course what I remember and the happenings arent as we now remember things...just feelings of cold/fear/warmth...
she fell in the water while fishing....

My earliest memory - don't know age - but we moved when I was 5 and I was told it happened a couple years or more before we moved -

Across from us was a field - and there was this low shelf with a cement block on it - after reading - well being read to about Humpty Dumpty - I called that block Humpty Dumpty - anyway one day I went running to Mom crying that Humpty Dumpty really DID fall down (he had come down during the night - maybe high winds) and he broke into millions of pieces.

About 4yrs old ...I had a little metal red flowery watering can that i used to tie string to and lower it over the balcony to my little friend below ..where she would have a bowl of mud ready and she poured the water in it ...then i would hoist it back up run down the stairs and make mud pies lol ... i was a good cook then lol

...getting my feet printed....and the pain of being held by my ankles...it was a darkish place, and it must have been a metal pan of some sort I was placed into, because it was hard and cold....noisy.....

    Cool Re: Earliest Childhood Memory?

I dont know about my EARLIEST memory, but one that sticks out alot was about my 3rd or 4th christmas...

I was an only child at that point and my grandparents LOVED to spoil me rotten...

I got a big wheel , a batman peddle car --- wish i still had it, it was metal and would now be a collector's item --- also recieved a batman big wheel, it had the two big handles that when pulled they shifted the rear axle to turn...
