    Default Super Compuetrs

Edit:Sorry about the typo in the title, ooops!

    Blue Gene/L
, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, California. (131,072 processors)

That is the most powerful computer in the world and even though it makes my lonely and single Pentium4 processor look like a some kind of ancient clockwork device it is going to be replaced with a new one next year.

It occurs to me that they can put as many procesors and as much memory into these things as they want but in the end, people still need to operate them. Do you think though that the computer mentioned above and its new successor are helping us by making quicker calculations or leading us into oblivion ala The Matrix (bit dramatic I know but you see the point lol)
