Fill in the blanks with the appropriate math symbol :
example:
1 1 1 = 6
2 2 2 = 6 would be 2 + 2 + 2 = 6
3 3 3 = 6
4 4 4 = 6
5 5 5 = 6
6 6 6 = 6
7 7 7 = 6
8 8 8 = 6
9 9 9 = 6
Fill in the blanks with the appropriate math symbol :
example:
1 1 1 = 6
2 2 2 = 6 would be 2 + 2 + 2 = 6
3 3 3 = 6
4 4 4 = 6
5 5 5 = 6
6 6 6 = 6
7 7 7 = 6
8 8 8 = 6
9 9 9 = 6
Im mathematically challenged any way...but I thought Id try at least..so I did the easy ones...lol...
1 1 1 = 6
2 2 2 = 6 would be 2 + 2 + 2 = 6
3 3 3 = 6 3x3-3=6
4 4 4 = 6
5 5 5 = 6
6 6 6 = 6 6x6/6=6
7 7 7 = 6
8 8 8 = 6
9 9 9 = 6
Sorry bill my key pad isn't big on math symbols how about 4+4-sqroot of 4
and 5 squared+5 divided by 5
7-(7divided by7)
That all your getting from this guy, after all I need to takeoff my ***** to count to 21.
ok one more
squareroot of 9+square root of9+ 9 to the 0 power
this would be a lot easier to write if the key board did exponential values, sin, cosin, and sigma notations it's all childs play for the right child the number of ways to write a number=the number ways to put a photo on a web site LOL
very good pet! smart one!...I am and have never understood numbers...Ive done boolean algabra but cant add 1+1...lol..my instructor couldnt figure me out!...lol..
I think its for me all about interest and keeping my interest...
good job!
Kassi59:
Try using noneuclidian geometry theroms to explain to the cop why the reason you can't walk a strait line is there's no such thing as a strait line.
some times smart people are really dumb.
oooooooh very interesting!..hmm...
much better than saying that Id never had decent equilibrium with both feet on the ground- and you expect me to not wobble with one foot up after a couple beers???!!!!!.....lol
You guys are good. Not sure about the 9 Circus close though. Still a few to be solved.
So far:
1 1 1 = 6
2 2 2 = 6 would be 2 + 2 + 2 = 6
3 3 3 = 6 3 x 3 - 3 = 6
4 4 4 = 6
5 5 5 = 6 5squared + 5 – 5 = 6
6 6 6 = 6 6 x 6 / 6 = 6
7 7 7 = 6 7 - (7 / 7) = 6
8 8 8 = 6
9 9 9 = 6

Genuine math exercise. And there are more than one way of solving. Example two other solutions: 5/5+5=6 or -7/7+7=6
1 1 1 = 6
2 2 2 = 6 2 + 2 + 2 = 6
3 3 3 = 6 (3 x 3) – 3 = 6
4 4 4 = 6 4 + 4 - √4 = 6
5 5 5 = 6 (5 / 5) + 5 = 6
6 6 6 = 6 6 x 6 / 6 = 6
7 7 7 = 6 7 - (7 / 7) = 6
8 8 8 = 6 8 –4√( 8 + 8 ) = 8 – 2 = 6 this would mean 4th root of ( 8 + 8 )
9 9 9 = 6 9 – (9 / √9) = 9 – 3 = 6
Stil trying ti figure out the first one.

It is actually the cube root: 3√8 +3√8 +3√8 = 6

Try factorials.
Yes, 3√8 +3√8 +3√8 is ok. But also, 4√( 8+8 ) = 4√(16) = 2 So 8 –4√( 8 + 8 ) IS 6Originally Posted by bill2006
Instead, 2√9 = 3 so 2√9 + 2√9 +2√9 = 9 and NOT 6

Factorials (1+1+1) ! = 3 ! = 3 x 2 x 1 = 6

I might have done something like that sometime 25 years ago, but don't remember it any more.

And since i like going through what i don't know, here is:
BY THE SYMBOL n! ("n factorial") we mean the product of consecutive numbers 1 through n.
n! = 1· 2· 3· · · (n − 2)(n − 1)n = n(n − 1)(n − 2)· · · 3· 2· 1
The order of the factors does not matter, whether backwards or forwards.
0! is defined as 1.
0! = 1
Example. 6! = 1· 2· 3· 4· 5· 6 = 720
Thanks Bill, it's been quite useful.

Do you walk while chewing or chew while walking. The confusion makes me want to drink. The drinking gives me a reson to be confused. Now look what you've started. LOL
Well it is after 12 in some part of the world.
