Default New Laptop

Hey everyone,

I've been looking to buy a new laptop to replace my old one. My old one is pretty slow and the screen is to big etc... Anyways I was just wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions on what company or model to keep in mind.

Oh ya and I would really appreciate to have one with a smaller screen so keep that in mind.

The new Mac's are awesome except they dont work very well with BV.
*******'s are very reliable. Dell and HP about the same. **** pricey. There's a new one **** but I don't know much about it.

Look them over, go to a store and pick them up, ask for the password and turn them on and off, compare.

Hey!

I personally have always been a Microsoft Windows user fan, all though I do find that they try to hard.

Ok guys ...I know nothing about computers but have to say I loved my Mac way back when I was in college. Right now though I gotta tell ya...****'s may be pricey but I think worth the money. I recently got a ******* Satellite M65 ( ok it's been almost a 9 months ) and already the speakers are gone, my screen is showing lines and it overheats easily so I had to buy one of those coolers....so I can't say I'm too impressed by ******* right now...thank god warranty still on it. My old **** is still working great and although I had to get new battery and a new drive because the old one crashed after 4 years...it is now almost 6 years old - in Jamaica we call that donkey years for a computer.

So I still say go for the **** but in the end good research on anything you buy is the best way.

Haha, in this world you get out dated almost every week on every high-tech thing you buy.

You buy the latest thing - then something better comes out and so on.

So true Jeremy - everyday there is a new gadget that replaces the old ones but I'm old fashioned I guess and rely on the tried and true...well unless it's really good...lol

I'm sitting here with my brand new *******, just got delivered. Loads of ram, superb graphics card, reasonable processor, all the other usual odds and ends (dvd rewriters etc) £499 including VAT Tax) and delivery. What are the prices like in Canada, comparable?

LOL You know I'm pretty sure it would be just a tiny bit more helpful that everyone tries to suggest the same manufacturer because it's pretty hard to choose now... lol I'm just kidding everyone has their preferences and I'm sure I'll find one to my liking thanks to all of yous:D... thanks again:D
