Default Favourite toys as a child?

What were your favourite toys as a child?

Some of mine were the same as most other boys, Star Wars figures and before that Action Man.

Did anybody have Stickle-Bricks? Ahhhh the days before games consoles eh!? Kids these days are getting so square eyed thanks to those things.

<loads Resident Evil 4 on his PS2 and begins to play>

I wouldn’t mind! But some of the action men I had are worth quite a bit now. Loved to remember what I did with them.

    Chris.
PS,Rob! No confessing to your Barbie or Cindy ones on the forum?.

LOLOL the only confessing I will do when it comes to Barbie and Cindy is when the sister of a friend used to find her regularly blown up by Action Man hahaha

I agree, the original Action Man (mine were from the mid 70's) are worth a fortune. Do you remember Eagle Eyes with a little eye flicker switch in the back of his head?

NO! Not off hand, the ones that I can remember from the 60/70s were. Dan dare, a great big Hornby train set & getting into loads of trouble with my 2 brothers if I used theirs.. Did have a petrol model plane once that you could only fly with 2 wires that were about 10 to 20 meters long & a handle. The only thing! Was you stood in an open space & had to turn your self round in circles & keep up with the plane. (makes you giddy) Remote control was to expensive then.

    Favorite toys ...

    GI JOE Figures and Vehicles...
    Star Wars Figures
Transformers - First Generation - Also the Dinobots >:o)
After I outgrew action figures I got into building models. Hot Rods mainly.
I have an intense fascination for building military & fantasy battles in action, though being broke all the time doesnt help the hobby.
Now my toys are Tools, Computer, and Firearms. :o)
