Thread: Holmes and Watson

Sherlock Holmes and his ******** Dr. Watson went on a camping trip.

Following an excellent meal and a bottle of wine or two, they settled into their respective sleeping bags and promptly fell asleep.

After a few hours, Holmes opens his eyes and wakes Watson:

“What do you see Watson?” he asks
“I see millions of stars” replies Watson
“and what does that tell you?” asks Holmes

Watson after some thought, and deciding to impress his friend with his own powers of deduction replies:

“From an astronomer’s point of view, it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets.
An astrologist would notice that Saturn and Leo are aligned.
******logically, it tells me its 3:15 in the morning.
Theologically, I can see that God is all powerful and we are small and insignificant.
Meteorologically, we will have a beautiful sunny day tomorrow.
and you my dear Holmes, what does it tell you?”

After a few minutes of silence, Holmes says:

“Watson, you really are losing it ……..our tent was stolen.”

Lol!

Elementary my dear bill...elementary....lol...if only Watson could get with the program...lol
