Thread: What is the Buddy List?

Just wondering what the purpose of the Buddy List is in the Forum???

I have come to trust a few people in relation to the great information they provide and believe they are sincere in their efforts to help me.

Should I place these guys and girls in my Buddy List???

The buddy list is used to keep track of the friends you have made on this forum. By going to your "My vB Home", you'll be able to see which of your friends are currently online, and be able to send them a private message. Adding people to your buddy list also allow you to send private messages to multiple forum members at the same time. You may add any member of the forums to your buddy list by clicking this button in a member's posts.

Ignore lists are used for those people who's messages you wish not to read. By adding someone to your ignore list, those messages posted by these individuals will be hidden when you read a thread.

You can if you want to..I myself have never added anyone yet have many VodaFriends! Im unaware of anyone elses

Ah...good info collector!...didnt know that...never had the need of using it...cool!..

In a rather large forum, ideally you would want to go the rooms where your buddies are located.

Sites going well, about ten pages completed and about 5 to go. Hopefully I'll publish with about a couple of weeks

It took me only a couple of my first Forum hours to identify 2 or 3 "Officers" worthy to shadow to glean the technical expertise I was seeking or would need later on......I began to compile my own BV Tips documents before getting the hang of insta-Search.

I still have only less than a dozen "Buddies", and it is their posts I review first...hoping to snag more secrets!!!
