Would like to have a Halloween Avitar party does this take up too much bandwidth or jam up the lines, you know what I mean......also does VH do this? Is it ok? What do think?

I think it would be OK for jsut one night (hmm...or two depending on which part of the world you are in...hehe...). Ithink it would be cool...I miss halloween living in JA.

Costume Lady:

You know Capin Bobo will be there. I welcome an evening of role playing fun. Hope you can get some administrative help with effects and sound bites.

ah sounds good, maybe the forum could be decorated as such, a halloween room made, we could take some votes for best costume, maybe we could even bob for *****s, somekind of slingshot game that someone could put the link on for, this could be fun ..... amanda could be in charge of the music, (she knows how) and gets some contests, and all that stuff .... cool ... count me in .....

Since this thread is usually answered by the higher-ups I'm still waiting to see if it's going to be an official VH function. Either way we will party. We do need a date and time.soon enough to inform others. I'm thinking
the 28th or 29th (weekend) need plenty of time to let guest make their costume avatars.

I go there every morning for my morning rasberry ice capp and then in the winter my coffee and my maple dip cant forget the maple dip hehe!!! but sometimes when I drive by at night I see some losers parked in the tim hortens parking lot showing off their cars in a tim horten parking lot hehe and I also try to win that car in roll up the rim hehe man you cant live without tims eh lol

I am a tea drinker myself, "English Breakfast" my fav ... yeah love the contests 4 sure, haven't gotten past that donut yet, lol .... but they do have a tim hortons in ohio .... was such a treat when we used to drive to texas or tennessee or whereever, to get back to ohio to catch the tim's, i believe the exit is number 29 .... yeahhhhhhhhhh timmy's .... definitely just as good at the hockey as "Fireball" lol

Well....thinking of how to "staff" the party, and to make it a little interesting without putting too much of a burden on one or two individuals, it might be possible to set it up along the lines of a traditional "roving party" (like the ones years ago, where a group would travel to each other's houses for different courses of the meal).

That way Band, and "timing" could be shared....if like I mentioned earlier we could install a special Forum temporarily on sites to "visit" in turn. We could then have a different theme for each forum, and make it even like a treasure hunt.....with a prize at the end for not only participating, but solving the puzzle?? Like a carnival, make everyone go to different booths (threads) to play a game, post a pix, something, to earn points or something to redeem for ....clues ....There would be different Clues on each Forum in the series.

If we simply use the phpBB forums and swap out the main banners (themed, of course) then everyone would be able to play the game (in sequence) and have a little fun bouncing around too.

If anything, it would serve to bring us a little closer, and to open the door to other "possibilities" we've mused about, and now possibly more confident of going ahead with......something to spur ***** and the team at VH to say "Why not? They've proved themselves!" next time we concot some scheme....

Great idea Vasilli ... and we can maybe get some companies hosted by VodaHost to give out prizes? I really like that idea.

Well....since I'm predominantly in the "jewelry industry" any prize I offer would need to be gender-generic, but I would select something nice.

If we still need Breeze which we might not anymore because your idea is really good .. but if you want I can design something like you mentioned we would need to talk else where from the forum for this .. maybe a messenger, and I do not have AOL hehe

We should try to keep the prize values rather modest, that way we can have more "Winners" and most likely collect more prize donations as well.

A "Grand Prize" and like a dozen or so equal value prizes (maybe 1 given for each segment, shall we say).
Having more winners allows more to have real fun, and makes for many a vibrant thread for weeks afterward.

If VodaHost would even find a way to make a Global Announcement across the top of VodaTalk, and like Robert suggested, have them email Members with an invite to a "VodaPeer Halloween Party" would stimulate some action......I wonder it there is a way to include VodaSearch (a banner?) or some other dynamic web-published announcement that would help to also "brand" VodaHost....maybe even having 3-4 short "Press Releases" ready to submit to every Article exchange on Earth and to post to every known blog under heaven??? THAT would demonstrate VH savvy and surely make every other ISP's customers wonder why they are missing out, right???

1. Anyway, I am willing to help.

2. We need to make someone incharge so he/she can tell us what to do so we know who does what, who does what etc. maybe a vote to see who will be incharge doesn't matter. I can start a Breeze meeting tomorow if that is alright and everyone can make it and we can all talk about it and decide what we are doing.

3. I am going to be publishing my new website named VodaSource soon which will be a reliable source for tutorials on Macromedia, Adobe, BlueVoda and everything you can imagine as well as a fun side to it with a forum, contest etc. I just want to put it out there we can probably start the first clue on that site or it does not matter to me.

It's too bad bzzz won't be here, she's going to be gone for a while! :(

Breeze also offers online polls so who ever is in the Breeze meeting will see a vote window pop up and you can vote for who ever want to apply to be in charge and they are live results so it will help.
