Thread: A Drive-By Hello

Hello everyone. New to BlueVoda and Web Design. I am an old dog trying to learn a new trick (well not that old). When you come from a print publishing background where many in the industry still see the internet as competition and something to be avoided, I see the web as a new horizon of possibilities. I like to call it, Internet Alchemy. The right mix of features, information, direction, and benefits that combined, create a path to fulfilling a broad range of consumer needs. So now comes the hard part for me, creating such a place on the internet. The vision is there, the "know how" comes a bit slower. Kudos to all of you already publishing on the web and remember think out of the box.

"If you can't beat em - Join Em" cause yeahhhh that is what you gotta do ... It's that old thing about competition, they have to realize that competition is good for business, good for consumers, good overall, competition just makes you better imo ...

And yeah Kassi ... I am taking Joes advice of thinking "outside of the box" cause that is a cup of tea there!!! hee hee

Tiramisu is a cool, refreshing Italian dessert that once tasted, leaves an indelible impression on you.
Also known as "Tuscan Trifle," the dessert was initially created in Siena, in the northwestern Italian province of Tuscany. The occasion was a visit by Grand Duke Cosimo de'Medici III, in whose honor the concoction was dubbed zuppa del duca (the "duke's soup"). The erstwhile duke brought the dessert back with him to Florence. In the 19th Century, zuppa del duca became popular among the English intellectuals and artists who lived there Consequently, it is also known as zuppa Inglese. They took the dessert to England, where its popularity grew. Zuppa del duca eventually made its way to Treviso, just northwest of Venice, in the northeastern province of Veneto. Treviso is best know for its canals, frescoes and . . . Tiramisu.

Mate, if you're that good in Tiramisu I guess I'm gonna havta visit ya.. and by the way.. your phone didn't get answered this arvo mate.. so I might try calling again tomorrow.. I tried calling earlier today.. but no one was home.
