Thread: Halo group?

Would anyone like to start a halo group? or am I the only one who seems to be interested? Possibly we could start our own community and chit-chat about halo, halo CE, halo2, or the upcomming Halo 3 and Halowars.

Halo group.....hmmmm would that be angels, people in a ring or techy talk, wars....hmmmm perhaps a game, explain halo please?

What Is Halo 2?
Halo 2 is the sequel to Halo - the best-selling **** game to date. Halo 2's plot sees Master Chief and Cortana returning to Earth in an attempt to stop the onslaught of the Covenant, a terrifyingly aggressive alien civilization, bent on the conquest and destruction of any species that dares defy them. Master Chief will be called on to save the greatest prize in the Human colonies - Earth itself.
The sequel includes many of the features players have been asking for, including all-new graphics, new environments and locations, new weapons, vehicles and full support for **** Live multiplayer action. Who is Master Chief?
Known primarily by his rank, Master Chief is a product of the SPARTAN II project – the systematic raising of children to become Earth's most formidable warriors in the 26th century. The result is a mentally and physically superior human being, augmented with, in the case of Master Chief, energy shielded Mark VI Mjolnir Battle Armor.
Master Chief, Spartan 117 may be the last of his kind. Years of conflict with the aggressive alien culture known as The Covenant, have depleted the Spartan ranks, and beaten human forces back from their exploration of the Orion arm of the Galaxy. What is The Covenant?

When they did, the Covenant reacted aggressively, attacking human colonies and destroying humans wherever they encountered them.
Covenant technology is more advanced and refined than human tech in the year 2552 and their sheer numbers and firepower have devastated humanity. The location of our planet, however has eluded them…until now.

Who Are the Forerunners?
The Forerunners are an ancient, long vanished civilization whose main legacy to the galaxy is a series of enormous ring shaped artificial worlds whose true purpose was revealed at the conclusion of the first Halo. The long-abandoned Forerunner technology has been reverse-engineered and co-opted with varying degrees of success by the Covenant, who revere the Forerunners almost as gods, and have built their entire civilization around that central premise. The Forerunners are a complete enigma, having left behind few clues to their identity or their fate.

lol. How true. Sometimes when my nephew comes to visit, I'll let him go on the **** and talk some. I have him put it on TV speakers so I can hear. SO MUCH CUSSING! AND RUDENESS.

It really is bad. You get all these people that take it way to serious. Its just a game! lol. You dont actually get much of that on Burnout though. Most of the people are really nice. Some lads get annoyed with me cos I beat them though. (Im a girl) lol. Shame on them!

LOL no offense Vasili, but I kind of think your a bit lost in modern agae gaming.

Oh, I don't know......I still win money playing pool, poker, have loads of fun playing backgammon and such. I remember fully "opening" all of the PS and **** games for my stepson, and I've had my time with PC gaming too.....but I would never suppose to pose as an "expert gamer" in today's advanced realm. Especially not to the point of "burnout" or when it would affect any real part of daily living.
My games (like my service record) are for real....and for real rushes. And, then as now, I take no prisoners.
I suppose it's all a matter of perspective, right?
One is fun, one is fantasy. One is real, one is surreal. One is for points, the other to get your point across.......whatever.....just remember to not stay up too late, and to turn off the lights when you leave?

As I look for time to play with my **** 360 - which belongs to my son even though I purchased it, hehe

.. I am not really a fan of the new Nintendo, they have always published little cartoon baby games I found.

Microsoft delivers great games, great graphics for the **** games. You also have the LIVE features that you must pay for.

^ yeah I know. Thing is, I have only recently purchased my **** (a few weeks before the 360 came out) So I dont personally think I have used it enough to throw away. (Even though I play on Live everynight lol) The Nintendo will be a good laugh with family at xmas so thats one reason Im going for it lol

Ok, first off. We should all put together a site? Maybe one we'll all have the login acess too and we can edit it. vgaming.org or vgaming.net or vgaming.org
We could get a premade gamign template and use RSS Feed script from dynamicflash website and use that to displa the most recent gamign news. I could work on the page for all the game cheats n hits and Teri can work on it with me! CL, you seem into board games, you'll be incharge of that page, do soem research maybe have a page on Board Games... The ones we WISH were still around. We could have a gamign video page inwhich we'll all search together to find gaming videos, interviews, and recorded gameplays. We'll make a members area which we could either profit from or make it free. We'll each be incharge of different emails (me for _______@vgaming.net,.org,.com or Teri for ____vgaming.net,.org,.com etc.)
OH, Teri might wanna be in charge of computer game section preferebly Burnout :) Well, i think thats it! post and tell me what ya think
