Well, let me jump in and say thank you to Zlatko for his idea. However, I will be a party pooper and pass, at least for now. I'm really trying to figure out how to promote my website through all the normal channels right now and that's a chore.

The Vodaliens Club is fun, and I know our leaders have put effort into it and I bow to them for that! lol But my thought is, it should just remain right here for fun.

These things are all now just getting worked out, with a little fun added, this is why we are in the lounge. Vlatko has initiated the project and we are going to fill it up with 40, not certain when it will all be done, but I think you did read Vlatkos offer ... he has another offer in the works at the moment as well. When we get it all put together, we shall let all vodaliens know the further details .... and perhaps you may reconsider at that time when you have the full "effects" if I may say.

An awesome idea Vasili .... let's wait until this busy holiday season is over for everyone, Vlatko has an awesome idea waiting to launch as well, do you think this Vodalienclub could be "Out of this World" ... it certainly is being launched in the right place, with all these great Vodaminds, the potential is mounting in a huge way ......

Next thing, I just took some updates, did a few other things, had to reboot my computer ... now when I arrived back on here I was logged on ... my computer had shut down and all ....

What's going on .... strange things are occuring ... or is this all normal and it's just EYE that is strange, lol

Oh I really need a better explanation than that Vasili ... this is real ... these things happened, it was not my eyes, and I was not flashing, lol ... all my clothes are still on, lol .... but seriously, do you suppose it could be related to the memory on my computer then? Obviously it's not a trick that you know that I don't know ... (the part of the writing on the post) I believe that to be a "lag" of some sort, whether related to my computer or perhaps the forum itself ... and perhaps if you do not log out, which I did not, and you restart your computer, everything goes back to where you were .... I would much rather be settled with these explanations ... or am I really not making any sense ...... awe ... another thing about me, I rarely let things go unsolved .... :( everything has an answer ... :)

When restarting systems, if you generally re-establish connections within 3-5 minutes (especially in IE, but also in Outlook) your presets are still there, due to the persistent cookies that make forums and secure sites function well at all --- that's why you don't have to log on each time you get to the next page, for example.....

I don't have any idea what the duration of VH cookies are (sometimes on boards they are defaulted at 180 minutes, for dialuppers), but that is most likely the reason.

The shuddering is probably due to your cache and presentation conflict....conflicting commands so it "burped".....

awe .... ty ... confirmation, now I am settled ... I upped (is that a word, lol) the settings on my virtual memory ... seems when working with more than one page and a few different photo programs open things slow down, so I am trying different things ... ha ha .... mechanic, NOT, but we'll see, seems a tad better, not really sure yet ....

About VM.....I've had 1g RAM sitting in my penholder for a week now....I'm too timid to mess with a simple installation, now that my email mysteriously decided to function.....how stupid is that????
Honestly, I really think everyone should spend $60-120 to upgrade to 1g of RAM if they aren't there yet....the new loads already in place pretty much make it a requirement. Wait until we migrate to Office 2007 or Vista....then it will be more like everyone's system will crash and won't come back....(I am trying to keep everyone in my offices on XPpro and Office 2003 as long as possible....I just spent a wad getting them laptops in hopes that they will get the hang of greater access=greater productivity)

I am swaying back and forth from an 80 gb to 120 gb though, I don't really need more than 80 and I don't believe I want something so large that it takes forever to scan, defrag, etc., I don't believe I want Vista, I believe I want to stick with XP, I don't want IE7, here is what I am gearing up for .... With external drives so cheap, and sticks up to 3g to transfer, there is no need to have such huge HD's anymore......plug in and rock away is how I fill my day. I have a 2g stick on my keychain (THAT is sick!)

I got the 17" HP widescreen MediaXP for me personally. Has more than what I really need, but it has all the neat media stuff to hopefull make my sites "zing" with video, etc. I just got a copy of Dreamweaver, and I can use that to edit Flash templates and elements, etc. Great.....more learning s*** I can't use anywhere else in life! (Besides, when it comes to me, I can get by......maybe I'm getting old, but $1200-1700 is as much as I figure any laptop is worth. They are outdated so quickly anyway, what's the use?)

Hello my dear 2nd in COMMAND,I'm doing fine thanks for asking it's been a very busy week work wise as we were preparing for year end holidays shut down.....lol......but it's good to be back at least for a few days until I go on holiday with my family for 2weeks just over the border to MOZAMBIQUE.

Our Alien friend Cindlien as for a position of a department on our Alien Family.
I was wondering about the position of Minister of Tourism for our ladie friend.....what do you think?.....
I think she deserves a promotion.......and just maybe the 2 pigliens subjects might wake up.......lol

And for the checking in I will be taking my laptop with me, hopefully I will be able to log in, but cant promisse as we will be stay with some friends in a very remote part of the country along beautiful tropical beaches.....lol

Oh my just sounds really dreary Manuel ... lol .... well you be sure and think about our cold butts here in Nova Scotia while you are basking on the glorious sand filled beaches ... I too get to do that, for about 30 days during the month of July here ... lol .... beaches right in my back yard pretty well though, not much travel involved, and of course, clam digging right near as well .... but actually yesterday and today have been rather balmy ... not cold at all, and fortunate for me as I have been outdoors all week ....

I am eager to begin my duties, as soon as I get caught up on all that has been happening. I shall begin work immediately on recommendations for our fellow vodalien's much needed "fun-cations"!

My first is to recommend a long rest for our Royal Leader Manalien to some seculded beach with his family. I would say between the end of Dec and first part of Jan. (How am I doing so far?) When he returns I will be ready with further recommendations.

Dear 2nd in Command: It will be my pleasure to "beam" you to Alaska! How does the year 2010 sound? We will eagerly await the development and manufacturing of our beaming machine, which I hope will be complete by the year 2010.

There are other R&D projects, from what I can gather, ahead of the beaming machine...such as remotes/cells/t-shirts, etc.

If you would like to take the scenic route, may I recommend putting on those nice boots you just purchased (for kicking butt) and use a hiking map, which I will forward to you under seperate cover) and start walkiing NOW! You should reach the great state of Alaska by 2008, which would put you there 2 years ahead of schedule.

If that is not acceptable to you, then I will need more time to work on another alternative.

If we plan it right, and get ready for the Christmas rush next year, those remotes will take us all remotely further than we ever imagined ....

This walking trip may be a good one for our vodalien Chalien ... I believe that is his specialty, I prefer to be chauffeured ... any limo owners in the club?? Yacht owners? Pilots? What about Train Conductors? Well I can always go with the "dogs" .... lol

Now lets see..if I recall you have 2 dogs...I have 2 dogs, all we need is about 4 more...hook them up and you'll be on your way to Alaska in no time. May even pass up Santa and his sled!
