Thread: New here...just want to say hello

Hi,
My name is Bill. I am new to VH. Really impressed so far. I am using Photoshop and Illustrator to design my pages as well as Macromedia Flash...and then use Blue Voda to put it all together (adding video, flash, etc). Does anyone have any cool tips in using multiple platforms?

I am an artist manager and producer for a number of national recording artist as well as being a partner in an Ad agency, and have my hosting with another company and have been trying out Voda Host with a couple of test pages, and have been so impressed that I am about ready to move all of my artist sites over to VH soon.

Does anyone else out there have any multi platform experience or any tips?

Multi platform? You can use Macs & Microsoft with BV, but need virtual PC installed on the Macs for them to work.

Welcome Bill ... I like blue on black, so your site looks nice, the addition of silver glitter on your roll over of your nav bar is neat! Seems that I had to double click the nv bar menu though to move to another page, also there is a static sound emitting from there when clicking as well. I wonder if anyone else has experienced this on your site, or is it just me??

Thanks guys and girls...still trying to find my way around here I had a hard time getting back to where I posted my message. I am still trying to learn all of the tricks on here. LadyEye, the static from my flash buttons was on purpose...it was supposed to look like TV static. Is it too much?

By the way CL...I love the Christmas decoration. Did you make that?

I hope I can ask a new question in the same thread, but if I have a second domain folder under my main domain (new domain folder made under public_html), how do I publish to that folder with Blue Voda? Stumped???

Thanks Bill, would love to say that I did, but no I did not, purchased from a lady that makes signatures, also helps support her medical expenses as she has a sick child. So serves two purposes, I like the sigs, she needs the money. Happy Holidays to you Bill.

I love the look of the buttons and visually it is perfect for what you are trying to do ... an awesome idea .... I just don't know about the sound, it certainly does what you intended, I don't know if it is too much or not. See what others think I guess.
